The company's Food Safety and Quality Policy and its food safety and quality objectives are expressed as follows:

The company under the name “BIOLOGOS S.M. Private Company” is committed to producing products that fully comply with specific specifications and requirements for the full and continuous satisfaction of its customers, which are checked for quality, safety and authenticity (Regulation 178/2002, Article 8) before delivery.

Through the harmonious cooperation of all stakeholders (management, staff, partners, suppliers) it ensures the successful completion of its work. The company is committed to communicating with the food chain (customers, producers, etc.) on food safety and quality issues.

In order to meet the above, the company has installed and implements a Food Safety and Quality Management System, which includes all the processes of the company that affect food safety and quality.

The Food Safety and Quality Management System is monitored, maintained and improved through inspection, evaluation and review programmes. They are designed to give emphasis to prevention, but without underestimating mechanisms for corrective action when non-compliances are found in the implementation of the Food Safety and Quality Management Systems with their requirements.

The achievement of the objectives is achieved through modern know-how, compliance with European & National Legislation, alignment with market conditions, by employing appropriately trained staff, in full compliance with Greek labour legislation and without any racial discrimination, with auxiliary functions and with the provision of the necessary resources (i.e. moral and material means), with continuous awareness and information on issues of Food Safety and Quality and on issues relating to the environment. Specific food safety objectives per operation of the business are established and reviewed through Management Reviews.

Food safety culture is a core value of the company and a commitment that characterises it. The workforce is trained to cultivate a food safety culture and the values, beliefs and attitudes of the staff characterise and underpin this practice.

All of the above guarantees compliance with the requirements for Food Safety and Quality according to the ISO 22000:2018 Food Safety Management standard and organic certification, as well as the company's commitment to continuous improvement of its Food Safety and Quality Management Systems.

This Food Quality and Safety Policy is communicated to all its stakeholders.
