A warm and nourishing drink with anti-inflammatory benefits
1 serving
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp Bio-Logos powdered coconut milk
- 1 scoop Bio-Logos goat/sheep whey protein powder
- 1 tsp Bio-Logos organic turmeric and black pepper powder
- 1 tsp organic maca powder
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 250 ml hot water (not boiling, around 80°C)
Instructions:
- In a small mixing bowl or directly in a mug, combine the powdered coconut milk, whey protein powder, turmeric and black pepper powder, and maca powder. Stir to ensure the dry ingredients are evenly mixed.
- Add a small amount of hot water (around 2-3 tablespoons) to the mixture and stir well to form a smooth paste. This helps to prevent lumps.
- Gradually pour in the rest of the hot water while continuously stirring to ensure a cream and smooth consistency.
- Stir in the coconut oil until it is fully melted and incorporated into the drink.
- Taste the golden milk and adjust as needed. For sweetness, you may add a touch of honey or monk fruit powder if desired (optional). Also, a pinch of sea salt would improve the flavour.
- Serve immediately while warm, and enjoy the soothing and nutritious benefits of the golden milk.
Optional Variations:
• Add a pinch of cinnamon or cardamom for extra warmth and flavour.
• Blend the mixture with a hand mixer for a frothy texture.
• Serve with a sprinkle of turmeric or cinnamon on top for presentation.
